I’m sure you have never suffered from FEAR OF THE BLANK PAGE!
Well I have! That dread to start your new notebook and make a wrong line, or that you will draw something “wrong” that you will not like.
And sometimes that fear translates into a creative block, where you just don’t know what to draw.
So here is a a little trick I have when I know I’m stuck with ideas: I DOODLE!
But not coherent doodles.
I close my eyes and just let the pencil slide through the page without planning the movement of the hand. And at the end I look at those lines and search for “something” hidden in the chaos.
In the video I show you exactly how I do it.
It’s a great exercise when you just want to experiment with new styles and mediums.
Will you give it a try? If you do I would love to see what you create from your “doodles”. Feel free to post them in the comments or tag me on Instagram
Happy doodling!
